HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver focuses on using specialised vehicles and equipment, you'll help ensure that water flows freely through drainage systems, helping to prevent flooding, minimise disruption.

What the role involves

• Using specialised vehicles and equipment, you'll help ensure that water flows freely through drainage systems, helping to prevent flooding, minimise disruption.
• Carrying out a wide range of drainage services, including high-pressure water jetting(HPWJ) to inspect.
• Maintain drainage networks.
• Responding promptly to drainage issues and emergency callouts, tackling blockages, overflows, and other urgent problems to keep water flowing safely and efficiently.
• Supporting planned and reactive maintenance by clearing, cleaning, and repairing drainage systems as part of routine operations or urgent interventions.
• Accurately recording and reporting all work carried out, including identifying and flagging any additional issues that require follow-up.

Skills and requirements

• We’re looking for reliable, committed individuals who hold a Class 2 licence and a valid Driver CPC.
• Enjoy working as part of a team and demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety.
• While previous experience in the drainage industry is preferred, it’s not essential - full training can be provided for the right candidate.
