HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver focuses on to deliver and collect all goods/items to or from the designated points advised by swish building products.

What the role involves

• To deliver and collect all goods/items to or from the designated points advised by Swish Building Products.
• To be responsible for ensuring that your load is secured safely on the vehicle complying with all legal requirements of which you are aware as a professional driver.
• To ensure you are not sitting in the driver’s seat whilst the vehicle is being loaded or unloaded or serviced.
• To report any load discrepancies to the Transport Office immediately.
• To be responsible for obtaining signed Pod’s for all goods and stillages/legs delivered for, or on behalf of Swish Building Products.
• To be responsible for the cleanliness of your vehicle “inside and out” and to always keep the vehicle a nonsmoking vehicle.

Skills and requirements

• Valid C Driving Licence (HGV Class 2).
• Report safety risks.
• Overnight stays are required.
• Involves regular handballing and manual handling of goods as part of day‑to‑day duties.

Confirmed role details

• Mon-Fri 48 hrs per week.
