What the role involves

• Safely operate LGV (Class 1 or 2) vehicles in accordance with UK road laws and company policies.
• Report any faults or issues.
• Unload goods using appropriate manual handling techniques or equipment.
• Delivering concrete, coated asphalt, and aggregates to customers or depots on time, ensuring accurate paperwork and documentation.
• Maintaining communication with the Distribution Department regarding delays, issues, or route changes.
• Ensure security of the load during transit.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant licence, warehouse, driving, stock, or operations experience may be required.
