HGV Driver

Job DescriptionWe are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join us out of the Morrisons RDC in Burton Latimer, Kettering to support our General Haulage and Trunking Operatio.

Logistics work involved

General Haulage with Curtainside trailers, to Distribution Centres and Stores. Collections from Stores to load out to Distribution Centres. Supporting General work, including occasional store deliveries and requirement to load.

Licences, skills and experience

• You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (We will consider New Pass Drivers).
• No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR Code convictions.
• Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.

Practical information

• S are Full Time, working on a permanent basis and we have a shift pattern of Thursday-Monday with start times between 11:00am-15:00pm.
• We have increased our pay rates, with rates now ranging from £15.15 to £18.96 per hour, depending on shift – giving you even more reason to build your driving career with us.
• Mon-Fri Days - £15.15 per hour.
• On top of base salary our HGV Drivers will be entitled to £5 per shift tax-free meal allowance, and £25 per night out tax-free allowance (if applicable).
