HGV Driver LBS

HGV Driver focuses on operate refuse collection (dustcart) vehicles.

What the role involves

• Operate refuse collection (dustcart) vehicles.
• Plan collection routes to ensure all collections are completed.
• Work closely with Loaders and other team members to deliver an efficient service.
• Maintaining accurate records and comply with driving regulations.
• Provide a professional service when interacting with members of the public.
• Work flexibly and beyond the contracted finish time of 2:00pm when operationally required.

Skills and requirements

• Previous experience driving dustcarts or similar large commercial vehicles.
• Experience working within waste management, environmental services or a related field.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Category C (Class 2) Licence.

Confirmed role details

• Candidates must bring their Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card for inspection at interview.
• £24.15 per hour (Limited/Umbrella).
• 36 hours per week.
• Unit 4, Sandgate Industrial Estate, 57 Sandgate Street, Southwark, Surrey, SE15 1LE, United Kingdom.
