• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Operate and maintain HGV vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods to designated locations.

Technical requirements

• A valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification (the cost of renewals required during employment will be covered by Whistl).
• Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents and a strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills.

Practical details

• Day shift Class 1 -Monday to Friday, circa 10 am Start.
• Weekend Working Allowance: Up to £200/month for weekend shifts as part of your contractual schedule.
• 6th Shift Incentive: Additional shift paid at 1.75x your basic rate.
• 15% extra pay for hours worked between 10 pm and 6 am.
