HGV Refuse Driver

Northampton NN5

Monday-Friday

06:30 16:00 (45 hours guaranteed)

Pay rate: on going


Company Overview:

Due to continued growth and expansion, our prestigious client is currently looking to recruit a HGV refuse driver, to join their growing team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a local team, supporting with their transport activities across the area.

Role Overview:

Operate Class 2 vehicles to collect household, commercial, or recycling waste, managing crew safety and vehicle compliance.

Responsibilities

  • daily pre-use vehicle checks
  • navigating tight residential streets
  • operating lifting mechanisms and ensuring compliance with transport regulations.
  • Collecting bins/loading bins

    • Job Requirements:

  • Refuse driver experience required at least 6 months
  • Flexible to work weekend
  • A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlement
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
