HGV Removal Driver

HGV Driver focuses on to act as relief and cover for other driving staff during periods of absence.

What the role involves

• To act as relief and cover for other driving staff during periods of absence.
• To assist in providing an effective customer care policy.
• To remove vehicles in line with contract guidelines.
• To report any damage caused to vehicles during the removal process to the OBCEO.
• Countersigning the OBCEO’s vehicle condition forms.

Skills and requirements

• GCSE or Equivalent in English & Maths.
• Full UK driving licence (HGV2).
• Ability to lift vehicles using a HIAB will be an advantage but not required as training will be given.
• Ability to communicate with customers, often in difficult and demanding circumstances.
