HGV Technician
Job description
This HGV Technician opportunity is built around carrying out inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV and LCV vehicles. It would suit someone who can bring dependable and self-motivated on the road to the role.
Where the work sits
Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota (approximately 1 in 7 weeks). Opportunity to work overtime, including Bank Holidays27 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, rising to 32 days after 5 years’ service.
How the role works day to day
Carry out inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV and LCV vehicles. Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults. Undertake welding and fabrication work where required.

Practical details
- We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join the team in Derby on a permanent basis.
- Be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of Heavy and Light Commercial Vehicles and associated equipment including sweepers and RCVs.
- Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time.
- Monday to Friday, Days (37 hours per week).
