Job description
This HGV Technician opportunity is built around repair, maintain, inspect all commercial vehicles within the fleet maintenance facilities. It would suit someone who can bring drivers Certificate of Professional Competence (DQC) to the role.

Full industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair). Highly impactful, articulate, strong relationship builder with the ability to influence at all levels.
How the role works day to day
Repair, maintain, inspect all commercial vehicles within the fleet maintenance facilities. To ensure that the statutory and operational requirements are met, maintaining vehicles in accordance with the Driver Vehicle and Standards Agency “Guide to Maintaining Roadworthin. Complete long-haul or overnight driving work safely and reliably.

What needs to be in place
- Experience working on Electric Powered Vehicles.
- Experience of proactively engaging customers to improve relationships for the long-term and continue to drive value.
- Experience working on specialist Hydraulic systems.
