HGV Technician
Technician focuses on carry out servicing, inspections, and repairs on hgvs in line with dvsa standards.
What the role involves
- Carry out servicing, inspections, and repairs on HGVs in line with DVSA standards.
- Conduct 6-weekly PMIs, MOT preparations, and brake tests.
- Diagnose and rectify faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Repair hydraulic, electrical, engine, gearbox, and braking systems.
- Ensure timely, cost-effective maintenance.
- Complete defect reports.
Skills and requirements
- Competent in the use of diagnostic tools and modern vehicle systems.
- Experience with a range of manufacturers and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence (required).
