Job description
As a Teaching Assistant, the work centres on providing targeted 1:1 and small-group support. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.
Where the work sits
As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in enhancing teaching and learning across the school. Working closely with class teachers, you will help deliver high-quality lessons, lead targeted interventions and support pupils with a wide range of learning needs.
How the role works day to day
Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support. Leading intervention programmes for pupils with additional needs, including SEND and EAL. Supporting pupils’ emotional and social development, building confidence and resilience.
Practical details
- In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
- All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
