Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Higher Level Teaching Assistant focuses on supporting the educational, social and emotional development of pupils in line with their education, health.
What the role involves
- Supporting the educational, social and emotional development of pupils in line with their Education, Health.
- Assess pupil needs and use specialist knowledge to support learning and achievement across all areas of development.
- Record and evaluate pupil progress, adapting activities and interventions to meet individual needs.
- Deliver engaging lessons, intervention programmes and learning activities that motivate and inspire pupils.
- Preparing learning resources and effectively manage the learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, health professionals and other school staff to ensure a joined-up approach to pupil support.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
Confirmed role details
- Position: Full-Time, Term Time Only.
