  • Be responsible for ensuring projects remain financially controlled from tender stage through to final account.
  • ·Managing the commercial lifecycle of highways surfacing projects.
  • ·Preparing, submitting, and agreeing valuations and applications for payment.
  • ·Monitoring project costs, forecasts, and budgets.
  • ·Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
  • ·Preparing and negotiating variations and final accounts.

Skills and requirements

  • ·Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
  • ·Essential experience within highways surfacing or highways maintenance projects.
  • ·Strong knowledge of commercial processes within civil engineering or highways works.
  • ·Experience managing subcontractor accounts and client valuations.
