- Deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5).
- Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development of the History curriculum and departmental resources.
- Supporting students’ wider academic and personal development through pastoral responsibilities.
- Attend department meetings, parents’ evenings and school events as required.
Skills and requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
