How the role is set up

Responsibilities: The Supervising Social Worker will oversee a small caseload of 10 – 12 foster families located around Croydon, Wandsworth, Surrey, Streatham, Beckenham, Kingston. You will only provide support and supervision to the foster families so you will not have to complete any Form F Assessments on top.

What is expected

• Please apply if you are a Qualified Social Worker and if you have experience in working in fostering or in a Looked After Children Team.
• You must have a Social Work Degree and a driving license also.

Job details

• Stop Care is working with a well established Independent Fostering Agency with a Good Ofsted rating in the South London area, in order to help them find a Supervising Social Worker.
• Work closely with therapists, education leads and other Social Workers and the child’s birth parents may also be involved.
• Receinve ongoing therapeutic training, so you can develop your skills and progress your career with them.
