What the role involves

• Being a Home Care Assistant is an essential role, supporting our Clients to live well at home.
• With the support of our team and industry leading training, you can feel fully equipped to deliver the high-quality care Home Instead has become known for.

Skills and requirements

• The right candidate for this role will need to be available some weekdays, plus every other weekend.
• Zero hours contract, but this can be reviewed after 3 months.
• No previous care assistant experience is needed, just your natural caring qualities.
• We will support you with full training, shadow shifts and introductions to all your new clients.

Confirmed role details

• £15.20 per hour after 18:00, plus paid mileage and travel time on top. We also pay double time on Bank Holidays.
• Minimum 1 hour calls– giving you the time to care.
• Which can build to full-time if desired.
• Contracted hours positions including 0, 12, 16, 24 and 30 hour contracts.

• Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and medication to keep them healthy and independent.
