Home Manager focuses on working in a home which supports children with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders, global delay, and many other special needs.
What the role involves
- Working in a home which supports children with learning disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Global Delay, and many other special needs.
- Manage the home and its staff team to provide exceptional care.
- Support for children with mental health needs.
- Ensure that the home complies with all relevant regulations and standards, including Ofsted requirements and Children Home Regulations.
- Develop a dedicated staff team to provide the best possible care for children.
- Overseeing the assessment, planning, and delivery of care.
Skills and requirements
- Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Manager/Deputy in a similar setting.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards in residential childcare.
- Passion for working with children and young people.
