Hourly Paid Musical Theatre Lecturer – Pianist
Job description
As a Pianist, the work centres on the candidate needs to be able to break down a full musical theatre score and teach its constituent parts to students. It would suit someone who can bring our courses are delivered by tutors with extensive knowledge and professional expertise of the industry and work closely with employers to develop students and their own skills to the role.
Role overview
This role is working hourly paid for approximately 12 hours per week based at our Watford Campus. Put Teaching, Learning, Assessment and student progress at the forefront.
Main responsibilities
The candidate needs to be able to break down a full musical theatre score and teach its constituent parts to students. During busy show periods, you will support with evening performances and possibly external events that require support. supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment.

Requirements
- The ability to work with and lead other musicians is also beneficial for this role.
- Teaching experience of delivering music theory and ensemble vocals is also essential.
- Holding a teaching qualification is desirable but not essential as training and the chance to achieve a teaching qualification whilst working for the College will be provided.
