What the role involves

• 7am till 3pm Brainkind is a charity that aims to improve the lives of people with brain injuries in the UK.
• Purpose To assist with maintaining the highest possible standard of cleanliness throughout the Service including the laundry.
• This post holds no budgetary responsibility but will be expected to ensure costs and expenditures are kept within agreed limits.
• Managing laundry, following guidance from the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• To carry out all duties with due regard for the Health and Safety of service users, staff, volunteers and visitors.
• Responsible to ensure safe storage and use of chemicals and equipment with COSHH and Health and Safety requirements.

Skills and requirements

• Responsible for working alongside and/or supporting volunteers within their team Qualifications required.
• No formal qualifications required Experience, Skills and Ability.
• To record all information required.
• All successful candidates are subject to compliance checks including 3 years of checkable references and DBS/PVG checks* Brainkind are a Disability Confident Employer.

Confirmed role details

• Housekeeping Assistant Lancashire £11.44 per hour (Enhanced Pay at Weekends.) To work 5 days over 7 including weekends.
• A competitive salary of £11.44 per hour.

Additional role context

• Responsible to clean all areas of the Service as per daily cleaning schedules.
