What the role involves
- Maintain holiday homes and communal areas to a high standard, ensuring that all areas are spotless and well-organised.
- Assisting with laundry tasks including washing, drying, and ironing of linen and towels to ensure they are clean and ready for guest use.
- Use and store cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately, following all relevant health and safety guidelines.
- Keeping track of cleaning and laundry supplies, reporting any shortages or issues to management to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Ensure that all duties are completed efficiently and on time.
- Work collaboratively with other housekeeping and cleaning staff to prioritise tasks.
Skills and requirements
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently within the designated working hours.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning and laundry duties.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to cleaning and laundry practices.
