As a Housing Officer, the work centres on dealing with all aspects of the allocation and letting process. It would suit someone who can bring be motivated, adaptable, determined, and able to work on your own initiative to resolve problems and achieve positive solutions to the role.

What the work leans on

From managing tenancies and lettings to shaping safer, stronger neighbourhoods, you’ll work proactively to resolve issues. Proactively managing tenancies and taking the necessary enforcement action.

Where the technical work sits

  • Dealing with all aspects of the allocation and letting process.
  • Carrying out regular neighbourhood audits and developing neighbourhood plans to improve the communities we work.
  • Support concerns are identified, reported and actioned.

Technical requirements

  • Deliver a great customer experience.
  • Some of the experience/skills we need to consider you.
  • Proven housing experience, with a well-developed knowledge of housing management practice and legislation.
