Housing Officer focuses on orbit is dedicated to improving the quality of life for its residents and will be seeking a housing officer to support tenants across the stratford & south warwickshire area.

What the role involves

  • Orbit is dedicated to improving the quality of life for its residents and will be seeking a Housing Officer to support tenants across the Stratford & South Warwickshire area.
  • Supporting vulnerable households, respond to reports of antisocial behaviour.
  • Work between 8am and 8pm Monday to Saturday, including one evening per week, one weekend day per month, and occasional out‑of‑hours support.
  • Managing safeguarding referrals, perform estate inspections.

Skills and requirements

  • Experience in social housing, tenancy management, property services, or similar environments is highly desirable.
  • Ensure appropriate use of full UK driving licence and business insured vehicle are essential due to the travel requirements.
  • Candidates who hold, or wish to work towards, a Level 3 Housing qualification (CIH or Ofqual‑regulated) will be at an advantage.
  • An Enhanced DBS is required.What you'll get in return.

Confirmed role details

  • In return, you will receive apetitive hourly rate of £25 per hour (Umbrella pay), inclusive of holiday allowance on a PAYE basis.

  • To succeed as a Housing Officer, you will need strongmunication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage sensitively and professionally with tenants from diverse back.
