Job description

As a HR Co, the work centres on act as the first line of HR support, managing the shared People Team inbox and triaging or resolving queries in a timely, accurate manner aligned with our policies and culture. It would suit someone who can bring supporting task-by-task logistics operations while learning systems, routines, and working standards to the role.

How support shows up

Act as the first line of HR support, managing the shared People Team inbox and triaging or resolving queries in a timely, accurate manner aligned with our policies and culture. Supporting continuous improvement by reviewing processes, identifying efficiencies, and contributing ideas to enhance People Team operations. Maintaining accurate, up-to-date employee data across the HRIS and People Team folders, ensuring changes affecting payroll are logged correctly and on time.

What needs to be in place

  • Supporting data integrity, compliance, and audit readiness through diligent record‑keeping.
  • Ideally 1–2 years’ experience in an HR/People or similar administrative role, with exposure to HR processes. CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent), or willingness to work towa.
  • Working knowledge of HR best practice, HR operations, and UK employment law.

Job details

  • Co-ordinate the delivery of L&D initiatives, including liaising with external providers, promoting programmes, and tracking participation.
  • Administer and support ongoing development offerings such as LinkedIn Learning, Development Days, mentoring, learning agreements, and apprenticeships.
  • Work closely with a supportive, collaborative People team who will guide your development, listen to your ideas, and give you space to take ownership as your confidence grows.
  • Maintain high‑quality people data and manage core trackers and documentation.
