HR Generalist — 12-month FTC

12-month FTC is looking for a HR Generalist in Hazel Grove Stockport, with the role focused on supporting early dispute resolution, including conciliation discussions and informal mediation. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.

Where the work sits

You will be employedon a 12‑month fixed term contract, providing people focused support on a site with 1000+ employees across Manufacturing, R&Dand support functions. Partner with Global HRBPs to support local IT,Financeand other functional teams.

How the role works day to day

Supporting early dispute resolution, including conciliation discussions and informal mediation. Build strong relationships with Trade Union representatives and support collective discussions. Leading the creation, review and updating of HR policies, ensuring alignment with UK legislation and global HR standards.

What needs to be in place

• A minimum of 5 years ofHR generalist experience.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline, ideally supported by CIPD accreditation.
• Experience of working with Trade Unionsand managing employee relations casework.
