Human Factors Engineer
Human Factors Engineer focuses on as a human factors specialist supporting the trinity programme, you will report to the hfi manager.
What the role involves
- As a Human Factors Specialist supporting the TRINITY programme, you will report to the HFI Manager.
- Assist them in delivering User-Centred Design and Integration activities.
- Working with other engineering functions and disciplines to support their tasks.
- Supporting Vigilant lead HFI specialist in the conduct of human factors activities and integration of HF into the TRINITY design.
- Work with end user groups and HF stakeholders in workshops, trials and User-Centred Design activities.
- Assess prototypes/mock-ups of TRINITY hardware and software solutions.
Skills and requirements
- A recognised Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology or Engineering (with specific Human Factors Experience).
- Registered membership of the Chartered Institute of Human Factors (or eligibility for CIEHF Chartership via an equivalent body).

Additional role context
- Anthropometric assessment and workspace/workstation design.
- This could include assessing Commercial-Off-The-Shelf equipment against system requirements.
