What the role involves

• Prospero Teaching is seeking a committed Humanities Teacher to work with pupils from Year 7 to Year 11 at our client specialist SEN school in Romsey.
• Small‑group teaching to provide personalised support and re‑engagement.
• Teaching Humanities across Years 7-11, differentiating for a wide range of academic levels.
• Supporting learners working toward Entry Level, Functional Skills or GCSE‑equivalent pathways.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who may present with emotional or behavioural challenges.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

• Start Date: September 2026.
• Long‑term or permanent.
• QTS with a Humanities specialism, or strong Humanities‑teaching experience.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
