HVAC Engineer focuses on supporting delivery of hvac system design solutions for nuclear facilities.

What the role involves

  • Supporting delivery of HVAC system design solutions for nuclear facilities.
  • Check technical deliverables for nuclear ventilation and air conditioning systems.
  • Develop systems providing particulate abatement prior to discharge to atmosphere.
  • Design air conditioning and cooling systems for temperature-controlled environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure system integration and performance.
  • Produce HVAC design deliverables through Concept and Detailed Design phases.

Skills and requirements

  • Experience developing HVAC designs from concept through detailed definition.
  • Ability to perform trade-off studies to achieve optimal design solutions.
  • Experience writing and checking HVAC technical documentation.
  • Manage time, and escalate technical risks appropriately.

Confirmed role details

  • 2 days in one of the sites.
  • Experience Level: 3- 10 YOE.
