HVAC & Refrigeration System Design Engineer

HVAC & System Design Engineer focuses on maintaining existing product range whilst dedicated time to designing new products throughout the product range.

What the role involves

• Maintaining existing product range whilst dedicated time to designing new products throughout the product range.
• Consult with customers directly to understand their requirements and refine product specifications.
• Liaise closely with purchasing team to request niche components and materials needed for NPD projects.
• Design and create detailed electro-mechanical system designs and specification packs.
• Liaise with production department to continuously improve existing products, both functionally and aesthetically.
• Assembling desk based prototype instrumentation systems.

Skills and requirements

• Degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• Proven experience in the design of commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems, with applied knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.

Confirmed role details

• This is a Full Time, permanent position, contracted to 37 hours per week.
• C£45,000 Per Annum D.O.E + Bonus.
• Monday to Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm, 8:00am to 1:00pm on Friday (37 Hours).
