ICT Design Engineer

ICT Design Engineer focuses on update 2d cad drawings and 3d bim models for infrastructure and telecoms projects.

What the role involves

• Update 2D CAD drawings and 3D BIM models for infrastructure and telecoms projects.
• Maintaining drawing standards, templates, and version control in line with project requirements.
• Coordinating design information between disciplines (civil, electrical, mechanical, and telecoms).
• Assisting in producing as-built drawings based Onsite feedback and redline mark-ups.
• Supporting data centre and network infrastructure designs, including rack layouts, cable pathways, and equipment placement.
• Ensure compliance with internal design standards and client specifications.

Skills and requirements

• Experience in a CAD or BIM technician role within infrastructure, telecoms, or data centre environments.
• Extensive experience using Autodesk Revit for BIM modelling and project delivery (essential requirement).
• Experience with structured cabling systems, fibre networks, or telecoms infrastructure design.
• Experience producing technical drawings for installation or construction projects.
