IFA Administrator focuses on working closely with advisers to manage the full new business process from start to completion.

What the role involves

  • Working closely with advisers to manage the full new business process from start to completion.
  • Making outbound and receiving inbound telephone calls.
  • Preparing for client meetings, including quote requests, valuations and appropriate literature.
  • Preparing and submitting applications and supporting documentation to product providers.
  • Chasing providers through to case completion and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Inputting new business proposals into the back-office system in line with internal procedures.

Skills and requirements

  • Minimum 2 years administration experience within an IFA environment (desirable).

Confirmed role details

  • £26,000 – £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications).
  • Quarterly bonus scheme (subject to probation and performance).
  • Company pension.
  • Full exam support (exams funded, bonuses on completion, 1-1 coaching from experienced team).

Candidate fit

  • Proactive, positive and an excellent communicator with a strong telephone manner.
  • Confident using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy.
