What the role involves
- Coordinate a team of operatives, delegating tasks and monitoring performance to ensure operational targets are met.
- Report on inbound KPIs, delivering regular updates, team briefings, and ensuring clear communication of performance expectations.
- To maintain high standards of Health & Safety across all inbound activities, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
- To carry out HR Management responsibilities, including 1:1s, performance reviews, absence management, and disciplinaries, while driving engagement and continuous improvement within.
- Proven experience managing or supervising teams within a warehouse environment, ideally with exposure to inbound operations and high-volume stock intake.
- Strong understanding of goods-in processes, including deliveries, palletisation, put-away, and accurate stock control.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant licence, warehouse, driving, stock, or operations experience may be required.
