Inclusion Assistant
Inclusion Assistant focuses on supporting pupils with sen and additional needs in partnership with the inclusion lead and senco.
What the role involves
- Supporting pupils with SEN and additional needs in partnership with the Inclusion Lead and SENCo.
- Delivering targeted interventions and differentiated support programmes.
- Maintaining accurate records relating to SEN, pastoral, and medical needs.
- Assisting with provision maps, behaviour plans, risk assessments, and intervention plans.
- Liaising with staff, parents, carers, and external agencies.
- Supporting students’ academic progress, wellbeing, and social development.

- GSL Education Kent are currently recruiting for a committed Inclusion Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Canterbury from September 2026.
- This is a varied and meaningful role involving both direct student support and wider contribution to inclusive provision across the school.
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs.
