Inclusion Assistant

Inclusion Assistant focuses on supporting pupils with sen and additional needs in partnership with the inclusion lead and senco.

What the role involves

• Supporting pupils with SEN and additional needs in partnership with the Inclusion Lead and SENCo.
• Delivering targeted interventions and differentiated support programmes.
• Maintaining accurate records relating to SEN, pastoral, and medical needs.
• Assisting with provision maps, behaviour plans, risk assessments, and intervention plans.
• Liaising with staff, parents, carers, and external agencies.
• Supporting students’ academic progress, wellbeing, and social development.

• Start date: September 2026.
• GSL Education Kent are currently recruiting for a committed Inclusion Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Canterbury from September 2026.
• This is a varied and meaningful role involving both direct student support and wider contribution to inclusive provision across the school.
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs.
