Job description
The Independent Domestic Violence Advisor position centres on victim Support are looking to recruit Children and Young Person's Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (CHIDVA) to join our Children and Young Persons team in Barrow-In-Furness. It would suit someone who can bring clear communication, patience, and reliable follow-through to the role.
Where the work sits
Act as the single point of contact for young victims throughout their recovery process, delivering support and interventions in a group setting or one-to-one basis. Have the skills to provide effective crisis intervention, carry out risk assessments, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning.
