Instrumentation and Control Engineer focuses on monitor boilers, chp (gas turbines) and water treatment systems.

What the role involves

  • Monitor boilers, CHP (gas turbines) and water treatment systems.
  • Liaise with production teams to manage steam and power requirements.
  • Carry out planned, reactive and predictive electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
  • Test, calibrate and commission a wide range of instrumentation.
  • Diagnose faults and implement effective repair solutions.
  • Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

  • £50000 - £55000 + on-call bonus+ excellent benefits.
  • Support the safe and efficient running of site utilities and production systems, ensuring plant reliability and performance is maintained at all times.
  • Alongside maintenance work, you’ll also be involved in plant operations, monitoring conditions and making adjustments to optimise performance and reduce costs.
