How the role works day to day
Supporting finance transformation initiatives, embedding best practices to future-proof reporting and audit processes. Leading the preparation and delivery of statutory accounts for the Group and subsidiaries (including FCA-regulated entities) under IFRS. Review and resolve historic accounting and reconciliation issues, embedding sustainable solutions that strengthen reporting accuracy.

What needs to be in place
- Solid background in audit and financial reporting, ideally within financial services or capital markets, with experience in regulated entities.
- Track record of leading the preparation of statutory accounts and disclosures, with confidence in managing external audit and tax advisory relationships.
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with strong expertise in IFRS, including complex areas such as financial instruments, hedging, and multi-currency consolidations.
