Inventory Controller
Inventory Controller focuses on managing stock accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes, and discrepancy investigation.
What the role involves
- Managing stock accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes, and discrepancy investigation.
- Coordinating inbound and outbound stock movements to support accurate picking.
- Use the WMS to complete inventory transactions and produce stock reports.
- Ensure stock is stored safely and compliantly, supporting audits as required.
- Act as the day‑to‑day stock control contact for the site and customer.
- Supporting continuous improvement to reduce variances and improve efficiency.
Skills and requirements
- Experience in stock control or inventory management within a warehouse or 3PL environment.
- Good working knowledge of WMS and core warehouse processes.
- A detail‑focused, analytical approach to identifying and resolving stock issues.
- Confidence using WMS and Excel (lookups, pivots).
