Inventory Controller

Inventory Controller focuses on managing stock accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes, and discrepancy investigation.

What the role involves

• Managing stock accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes, and discrepancy investigation.
• Coordinating inbound and outbound stock movements to support accurate picking.
• Use the WMS to complete inventory transactions and produce stock reports.
• Ensure stock is stored safely and compliantly, supporting audits as required.
• Act as the day‑to‑day stock control contact for the site and customer.
• Supporting continuous improvement to reduce variances and improve efficiency.

Skills and requirements

• Experience in stock control or inventory management within a warehouse or 3PL environment.
• Good working knowledge of WMS and core warehouse processes.
• A detail‑focused, analytical approach to identifying and resolving stock issues.
• Confidence using WMS and Excel (lookups, pivots).
