IT Support Technician Apprentice
Job description
This IT Support Technician Apprentice role is focused on carrying out assessments to determine the need for changes in hardware/software configurations. It would suit someone who can bring supporting site-by-site logistics operations while learning systems, routines, and working standards to the role.
What the work leans on
Setup equipment such as PC, laptops, mobile devices, and other specialist equipment, ensuring systems are ready for use. Repair or replace components of a computer/network system as necessary.
Where the technical work sits
- Carry out assessments to determine the need for changes in hardware/software configurations.
- Install and configure computer hardware, printers, software, systems, networks and ensure the latest software upgrades are implemented.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on computer hardware, software, and networks to ensure efficient operations.
Technical requirements
- 5 GCSEs Grades A-C / 9-5 or equivalent (Including English & Maths).
- Monday to Thursday 8am – 4pm & Friday 8am – 3:30pm.
- Good learner willing to get involved and contribute.
