Junior Residential Conveyancer
Junior Residential Conveyancer focuses on assisting with progression of a caseload of residential property matters including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
What the role involves
- Assisting with progression of a caseload of residential property matters including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
- Support fee earners with tasks from instruction through to completion and follow firm procedures to ensure timely case movement.
- Provide clear, professional and timely communications to clients, lenders, estate agents, other solicitors, surveyors and third parties.
- Update clients regularly and escalate issues to supervising fee earners as required.
- Ensure accuracy and correct filing within the case management system.
- Carry out file opening and closing procedures.
Skills and requirements
- Some experience or exposure to residential conveyancing or property support work within a law firm, conveyancing practice or regulated environment preferred.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities under supervision, with a commitment to professional development.
- Previous conveyancing or paralegal experience advantageous but full training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidate.
