Kitchen Assistant / Commis Chef
Job description
This Weekends opportunity in Head Chef is built around maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and follow food hygiene laws. It would suit someone who can bring supporting kitchen leadership, service flow, and food quality across service-by-service operations to the role.

Join our kitchen team for an average of 1 - 3 shifts a week. Established in 1994, our award-winning venues have been hosting events for over 30 years, including comedy, music, drag, podcasts, talks/Q&As & spoken word.
What you would be doing
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and follow food hygiene laws. Assisting the head chef with deliveries and deep cleans. Produce high quality food, quickly and efficiently.
The working style that fits
Supporting kitchen leadership, service flow, and food quality across service-by-service operations.
What you need
- Must be able to work weekends and evenings. Must be available to work for most of December including 31st December.
- Shifts start between 5pm - 6.30pm and generally finish between 9.00pm and 10.00pm.
- Productivity scheme which could mean an extra £1.50 per hour, on that shift, if targets are hit.
Practical information
- 28ph + tips and a bonus scheme, paid 4 weekly.
- Shift pattern: Weekends.
- Additional detail: Bonus opportunities may be available.
