Kitchen Assistant focuses on supporting chefs with food preparation and stock management.
What the role involves
- Supporting chefs with food preparation and stock management.
- Collaborate as part of a team to ensure excellent service. Take responsibility for kitchen equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
- Supporting the team by keeping kitchen areas, surfaces, and equipment clean and sanitised.
- Ensure ingredients are properly stored and rotated.
- Assisting with basic food prep.
- Manage waste disposal responsibly.
Skills and requirements
- Follow cleaning schedules and complete required kitchen paperwork accurately.
- Support the kitchen team in reacting to guest feedback, when required.
- Experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
