What the role involves

  • Delivering, and assess lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Also support pupils in their transition from EYFS to Key Stage 1, helping them consolidate foundational skills.
  • Delivering, and assess high-quality lessons across KS1.
  • Delivering engaging literacy, numeracy, and foundation subject lessons.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL.
  • Maintaining a structured, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
  • This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Candidate fit

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching Key Stage 1.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
