What the role involves
- Delivering, and assess lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Also support pupils in their transition from EYFS to Key Stage 1, helping them consolidate foundational skills.
- Delivering, and assess high-quality lessons across KS1.
- Delivering engaging literacy, numeracy, and foundation subject lessons.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL.
- Maintaining a structured, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
- This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
Candidate fit
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching Key Stage 1.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
