• Are you a supportive and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant who enjoys helping children reach their full potential?
• Providing 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with additional learning needs.
• Supporting the child to access classroom learning and activities.
• Assisting with classroom routines, transitions, and structured learning tasks.
• Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support the child’s development.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

• In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support a KS1 pupil on a 1:1 basis, helping them engage with classroom activities, follow routines.
• Build confidence in their learning.
• Play an important role in encouraging positive participation and supporting the child both academically and socially.
