KS2 Maternity Cover – September 2024

We are looking for an experienced class teacher to join our team for a KS2 maternity cover contract.

Class Teacher – Key Stage 2 (to cover Maternity Leave - full time)

Payscale: Main Pay Scale

Commencing: September 2024

To be successful in this role, you will ideally:

· Have experience of working as a class teacher in at least one other primary setting

· Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

· Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education

· Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload

· Be able work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils

· Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative

· Be able to work flexibly and professionally

Qualifications Needed:

· A recognized teaching

· Experience in teaching Reception/Year 1 or early years education.

· A strong understanding of the national curriculum and early years foundation stage.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
