KS2 Teaching Assistant

This Teaching Assistant opportunity is built around supporting young children through safe routines, learning activities, and lesson-by-lesson care. It would suit someone who can bring always promote good behaviour and positive values to impact teaching and learning to the role.
Who the work supports
The Education Network is currently looking to recruit a teaching assistant for one of our partner schools in Peterlee. Our office works specifically with schools across the region and as well as this position we have a number of day-to-day and long-term supply assignments.

Supporting young children through safe routines, learning activities, and lesson-by-lesson care.

Always promote good behaviour and positive values to impact teaching and learning. Warm, reliable, and clear in communication.
What needs to be in place
- Candidates must hold a recognised Teaching Assistant or Nursery Nurse qualification Level 2 or 3 and have recent school experience.
- The successful candidate must be comfortable working with children of different ages and would ideally have some experience working with children with SEND but this is not necessar.
- Relevant childcare, early years, or classroom-support experience.
