What you would be doing

At Tiro, we partner with Middlesex University to deliver the Degree Materials Science Technologist (Level 6) apprenticeship. Conduct mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials and components to confirm they meet required specifications. Carry out materials testing, including tensile and impact testing, on production materials where required.

What you need

• To enrol on the Degree Materials Science Technologist (Level 6) apprenticeship, there are a few eligibility requirements set by the UK Government.
• A minimum of Level 3 qualifications (such as A-levels, BTECs, or equivalent).
