Job description
As a LCV Technician / Mechanic Apprenticeship, the work centres on attending college 5 times per year (Derby or Motherwell) – travel and accommodation provided. It would suit someone who can bring supporting site-by-site logistics operations while learning systems, routines, and working standards to the role.
Why this role may suit you
This is a 3 year programme commencing August 2026 which will see you gain a Level 3 Light Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship. Earn While You Learn – £8.58/hour in Year 1, with increases based on your skills and performance.
What you would be doing
Attending college 5 times per year (Derby or Motherwell) – travel and accommodation provided. Supporting Lead Technicians with complex repairs. Servicing and repairing a wide range of commercial vehicles.

What you need
- Must be 18+ and able to pass a security check (criminality and financial background).
- GCSEs in Maths & English (Grade 4-9) or equivalent.
