Lead Aircraft Engineer/ Supervisor focuses on supervision, assignment allocation and administration of shift personnel, task supervision and the supervision of all staff across all designated line maintenance bases where appro.

What the role involves

  • Supervision, assignment allocation and administration of shift personnel, task supervision and the supervision of all staff across all designated Line Maintenance bases where appro.
  • Inspect and sign for work completed in accordance with the Personal Authorisation Document granted by the Compliance Monitoring Manager.
  • Liaise with staff to give advice, direction.
  • Provide a compliant and safety control function to always ensure a high standard.
  • Shall be responsible for ensuring that prior to dispatch of an aircraft all required maintenance has been actioned, documented, and appropriately certified.
  • Bring training requirements to the notice of the Line Maintenance Manager/Deputy Line Maintenance Manager.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.
