Lead Civil Engineer

Lead Civil Engineer focuses on identify project functional requirements, works information, preparation of gi specifications, responding to technical queries, requests for information (rfi) for the project.

What the role involves

• Identify project functional requirements, Works Information, preparation of GI specifications, responding to Technical Queries, Requests for Information (RFI) for the project.
• Review and accept project drawings and documentation.
• Managing detailed design activities in accordance with project standards.
• Carry out technical assessment/approval of contractors work instruction/method statements/risk assessments.
• Provide technical supervision of construction/deconstruction activities to ensure compliance with design intent.
• Provide technical supervision of commissioning and/or decommissioning (as required).

Skills and requirements

• Experience of developing design assurance for complex projects.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement throughout the engineering lifecycle.
