Lead Commercial Glazing Operative

Lead Commercial Glazing Operative focuses on carry out both reactive and planned glazing works on commercial and retail sites.

What the role involves

• Carry out both reactive and planned glazing works on commercial and retail sites.
• Liaise with suppliers to order replacement units/panes (a supplier network is already in place).
• Coordinating specialist lifting equipment (e.g. cranes, spider cranes, operators).
• Supporting other trades (roofing, coatings, cladding) when glazing work is not available.
• Maintaining clear communication and accurate job documentation using a PDA device.
• Collaborate with the Slough Depot Management Team and National Glazing Manager to plan.

Skills and requirements

• Hourly rate £16.00 - £17.00 dependant on experience.
• Clean UK driving licence.
• IPAF (1b, 3a, eb).
